Show HN: Textfold – a native Mac text expander with plain text snippets

Thought it was just like the built-in text replacement feature at first, but the fact that you can add dynamic variables is really cool!

I wonder if it could be useful to have some sort of snippet that generates text via LLM, but you can continue writing the next paragraph while it is generating. Kind of like having an intro paragraph being generated that is standard filler, but writing the next paragraph at the same time by yourself because it is worth being more careful.
